Blankets for Karoo nomads
In Mid-September, the HCET donated blankets to a Karoo nomad community in the district. They helped to keep out the last of the winter cold. The blankets were donated by Pep Stores.
Performing Arts concert

Lungelo Ralawe, one of our Hospitality graduates, is working as a chef on Scarlet Lady, flagship of the new premium cruise ship company Virgin Voyages, founded by Sir Richard Branson. The vessel is currently based in Genoa, Italy.
