A growing number of HCET hospitality graduates are employed in the catering industry in Colesberg and elsewhere. Juanita Meyer (above), the top student in 2010, received a bursary from the Steyn’s Culinary Institute, passed her exams with distinction, received a merit award for the best student in practical work, and became a fully qualified chef. She currently works as head chef at a restaurant in Colesberg. Ayanda Fekemiso (below) works at the OK Grocer in Colesberg.
