In Mid-September, the HCET donated blankets to a Karoo nomad community in the district. They helped to keep out the last of the winter cold. The blankets were donated by Pep Stores.

The HCET has started a new project – The Handy Man Course – aimed at providing young people in our area with new practical skills sets, and enabling them to become entrepreneurs. Training takes place under the watchful eye of Jan Jacobs.
