Grade 3 learners during an educational visit to the HCET vegetable garden, managed by Charles Gavaza. Besides providing the Trust and the surrounding community with fresh produce, the garden is used to teach learners about food security and nutrition, and the value of growing one’s own vegetables.  

Three of our ECD interns, Michelle Allens, Sikelewa Fax and Ronel Jonas, obtained their ECD Level 4 Certificates at a graduation ceremony in March. Our congratulations !

As previously, the HCET celebrated Heritage Day 2025 in grand style, with staff and learners alike dressing up in colourful costumes, and taking part in singing and dancing.
