Donors fund new maths classroom
Two of our most generous and loyal donors have funded the purchase of a pre-fabricated classroom. Our principal, Marie Botha, will use the classroom for her maths classes. Given the recent growth in learners at Umthombo Wolwazi, she has been teaching maths in the school hall since the beginning of the year.
The Gerber School Room has been named after Mr and Mrs Jack Gerber, who live in the United Kingdom, and have supported the HCET for many years. The foundations were cast in June, and the classroom itself was erected in July.
