As part of its Covid-19 relief programme, the HCET is providing food parcels and other items to the Karoo nomad (karretjiemense) community living in an informal settlement outside Colesberg. Here, a member of the community appears with her latest food parcel as well as winter blankets.
The HCET’s Annual Report for 2019 has been released. This is a special anniversary publication, as it marks the 30th year of the HCET’s existence. Following extensive planning and preparations, systems were in place to protect learners, tachers, and HCET staff. Social distancing is observed, in the quads, on the playgrounds and in classrooms….
