ON 10 August 2021, the HCET staged a successful Music and Performing Arts Concert. Directed and produced by Unathi Asiya, our Music and Perfoming Arts facilitator, it gave all learners an opportunity to participate. It turned into a festive event, with learners singing, dancing, and playing drums and other instruments, and was thoroughly enjoyed by learners and staff alike.

In Mid-September, the HCET donated blankets to a Karoo nomad community in the district. They helped to keep out the last of the winter cold. The blankets were donated by Pep Stores.
